Session Description -

The Anatomy of Exercise is a lecture designed to give exercise professionals a comprehensive understanding of the human body down to the cellular level. The learning objective of the lecture is to give participants information to gain a better understanding of human anatomy, common health conditions, and exercise physiology to give them the tools to become a more well-rounded exercise professional.

Class participants should leave this lecture with a better understanding of bone/joint conditions and treatments, Neurological conditions and treatments, and various common cardiovascular diseases and their treatments as well as the importance of cardiorespiratory training.

Class participants should gain a better understanding of various facets of exercise physiology including the Force Velocity Curve, Sliding Filament Theory, Muscle Cell Type & Cellular Respiration.
