Clayton Shuck
Clay Shuck is the Director of Parks, Recreation, and Senior Services with The City and County of Broomfield. Clay's involvement with CPRA began early in his career as he was very active through the Aquatic's section. Clay also served on the CPRA Directors section as the vice chair, on the annual conference committee, and on the CPRA board.
As a Parks and Recreation Professional, Clay is motivated by how we impact our communities with the programs and services we offer. He believes there is nothing better than seeing the community participate in swimming lessons, CARA Athletics, fitness classes, or just out enjoying the parks. What we do makes a difference in the communities every day! Clay has experienced great opportunities throughout his career to work through the development of strategic plans, organizational development, conference leadership, budget oversight and development, and project management.

Alison Rhodes
Ali Rhodes, MPA, is Boulder’s Parks and Recreation Director. Ali’s two key responsibilities are to set vision for the organization and to support BPR’s teammates in operating a world-class parks and recreation system. Beginning her professional career in Finance, Ali soon realized that municipal parks and recreation aligned with her dedication to community and commitment to continuous improvement and health equity – she joined the city in 2002 and has never looked back. Ali holds a bachelor’s degree in History (cum laude) and Spanish from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver.
When not having fun at work, Ali likes to run, hike, walk the dog, read and when the location allows, sit in the hot sun by some water and do nothing. Ali and her husband Trevor have two kids and one very high maintenance dog.

Adam Hamm
Adam Hamm is the Sports Dome Manager for South Suburban Parks & Recreation District. Parks and Recreation holds deep significance for Adam as it represents a powerful and transformative force that positively impacts individuals and communities. Adam also believes Parks and Recreation encompasses the creation, management, and preservation of recreational spaces and programs that foster social, physical, and emotional well-being, enriching the lives of people from all walks of life.
Adam brings specific experience, knowledge, and skills in program development, youth sports, and facility management as a CPRA Board Member. Adam's commitment as a Parks and Recreation Professional lies in the belief that access to well-designed recreational spaces and diverse programs is fundamental to building strong and vibrant communities. Through his work, Adam aspires to contribute positively to the well-being of individuals and leave a lasting legacy of improved quality of life and community engagement.

Jaclynn Alvarez
Jaclynn Alvarez is South Suburban Parks & Recreation District's Customer Service Manager. Jaclynn has worked in parks and recreation for over 8 years – extensively with programming and facility operations. As a young professional, Jaclynn has progressed through various supervisory roles within parks and recreation, giving her fresh insight into the industry, as well as a variety of transferable leadership skills.
Jaclynn's life mission is to inspire and “lift” others through her service to her community. Jaclynn strongly believes in the mission of Parks and Recreation agencies; to provide quality services, facilities, and parks to all ages and abilities, with the goal of increasing overall quality of life. Jaclynn is motivated by the positive impact she makes on her community. Nothing gives her more self-satisfaction and pride than seeing her community get enjoyment from participating in special events or programs.

Luke Bolinger
Luke, currently serving as the Development & Neighborhood Services Division Manager at Town of Erie, oversees projects aimed at enhancing residents' quality of life. His approach is marked by innovation and creativity, crafting capital improvement projects tailored to the community's needs. With over 14 years of experience in parks and recreation, he holds a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP) credential.
Luke's journey into Parks & Recreation began as an adult softball umpire for Brush! Parks & Recreation. Even after serving in the United States Marine Corps, he returned to the Parks & Rec world, holding roles at Great Outdoors Colorado and Town of Windsor Parks, Recreation, & Culture. Luke holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Recreation, Tourism, and Hospitality, and a Master's from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism.
Outside of work, Luke enjoys golfing, reading, and attempting DIY projects. He treasures family time with his wife Cassie and two daughters, and he's proud of his extensive knowledge of Taylor Swift songs.

Nicole Reeves
Nicole Reeves is the Manager for Widefield Parks & Recreation. Nicole grew up in rural Colorado, playing sports and participating in programs offered by local Parks and Recreation agencies. Her first job in high school was with the town’s Parks and Recreation Department, working with youth sports, field maintenance, and teaching classes. It was extremely impactful to give back to her community and provide the same experiences that helped shape her to other youth in her town. Nicole is motivated to continue her work in Parks and Recreation to provide opportunities and experiences for her community to improve their health and find enjoyment and happiness in what they do.
Nicole has been very involved in CARA over the last five years having served as the Cross Country Committee Chair and held multiple positions on that CARA Board, including Chair Elect, Chair, and two terms as the Section Representative for the CPRA Board Advisory Council. She has also been on the CARA Showcase planning committee and recently joined the Annual Conference committee as well as a mentor in the ELN Mentorship Program. As a Board Member, Nicole would like to help engage members by reaching out to members and member agencies to talk about all of the benefits and ways to be involved and enhance member experiences.

Mari Steinbach
Mari Steinbach is the Executive Director for Montrose Recreation District. Mari is a dedicated professional with a deep passion for parks and recreation, whose career is centered around creating meaningful impact within communities. With years of experience in both small suburban and large urban settings, as well as rural areas, Mari has seen firsthand the transformative power of parks and recreation services. Mari believes that P&R professionals play a vital role in building vibrant communities by helping residents and visitors achieve a wide range of health, wellbeing, connection, fitness, and inclusion goals.
As an active leader in the Director’s Section for the past two years, Mari has expanded their network and learned from peers across the state. Mari has also traveled extensively, gaining new perspectives on the work being done by professionals in other states. Whether as an at-large board member or a leader for parks and recreation staff on the western slope, Mari is dedicated to ensuring every community has the support it needs to thrive.
