Officially Human
Organizations nationwide are facing increased difficulty in recruiting and retaining sports officials. To address this, Officially Human will provide valuable insights on how your organization can collaborate with teams, coaches, and families to raise awareness and foster a culture of respect for officials. By promoting respect and understanding, we can help support retention efforts and ensure that the games are a positive experience for all.
Join us in learning effective strategies to engage key stakeholders, improve the game-day experience for officials, and inspire the next generation of referees and umpires. Together, we can keep the games going strong!
Putting the AND back in Parks and Recreation
Errin Koon and Jared Musil will be leading the session "Putting the AND back in Parks and Recreation."
Parks and Recreation divisions often work under the same umbrella, yet with vastly different functions. The question is, how do these two divisions effectively work together to provide customers (citizens) with a safe and professional end product, like a sports field. The goal of this session is to provide attendees with tips, techniques and ideas that will enhance communication between the two work groups and assist with bridging the gap that may exist between those who prep the sports fields and those who program them.
