The City of Edgewater Parks & Recreation has teamed up with CPRA to bring trainer, Ryan Dowd, back to Colorado on Monday, June 8th for a 3-hour training called, "Conflict Prevention & De-Escalation: A Focus on Individuals Experiencing Homelessness, Mental Illness or Substance Use."
This event has two session times available to best accommodate your schedule. The morning session will be from 9:00am-12:00pm and the afternoon session will be from 1:00pm-4:00pm. The content is the same for both session times. Select your preferred time slot on the registration page.

About this training event:
This 3-hour session is a basic training on conflict prevention and de-escalation. It is designed specifically for frontline employees who interact with many individuals suffering from homelessness, mental illness and substance use. The trainer, Ryan Dowd, has run a large homeless shelter outside Chicago for over 20 years. His trainings are used by thousands of organizations around the world, including McDonald’s, Wendy’s and Whataburger.
