2026 CPRA Annual Conference at Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center in Breckenridge

Registration is open to attendees for the 2026 CPRA Annual Conference. Come celebrate CPRA's 75th Anniversary as an established trade association for parks and recreation professionals in Colorado!

Not sure who from your agency will be attending the conference? No problem! You can register generic names/holds for your team to secure spots and receive the Early Bird price. (Example - Boulder One, Boulder Two, etc.) You may update your registrations with the names of those officially attending at a later date by logging into your Info Hub. 

Generic holds must be updated with the names of the people attending the conference by Friday, August 28th, 2026.

**Important!** 

Officially registering spots ensures that you/your agency has secured your place at the conference and creates an invoice for your registrations. Please do not send payment to CPRA without registering first. The only way to ensure you are registered for the conference is to go through the registration steps on this event page.

Please be sure to register for the conference BEFORE booking your lodging accommodations. Ensure you and your team are registered for the conference before making travel and lodging arrangements.. 

Schedule Overview (subject to change):

  • Early arrivals & exhibitor setup begin on Tuesday, October 20th.
  • The conference kicks off at 8:00am on Wednesday, October 21st.
  • The conference will end on Friday, October 23rd around 10:30am. 

Conference registration includes:

  • The opportunity to earn up to 0.9 Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
  • Grab & Go Morning Snacks 10/21 & 10/22 (ex. yogurt, granola bars, fruit, coffee, tea, etc.)
  • Food during Schmoozapalooza Exhibit Hall
  • Coffee & snack breaks in between sessions on 10/21 & 10/22
  • Entry to the CPRA Social
  • Breakfast on Friday, 10/23

CPRA Room Block Reservations:

Important: Please see these Reservation Instructions from Beaver Run. 

To reserve a room:

  • You may book a room in the CPRA room block online at the RESERVATION LINK. 
  • Or you may call Beaver Run Resort at 1-800-525-2253 to make a reservation. Please be sure to identify yourself as part of the Colorado Parks & Recreation Association 2026 conference group. 
  • The Room Block Reservation Deadline is Friday, September 18th or once it is full. 
  • Once your attendee list is finalized, and should any changes occur, be sure to contact Beaver Run to update all room information with the correct name for each room to ensure smooth check-in (1-800-525-2253).

Per Beaver Run Resort - In order for an individual to receive Tax Exempt status, you must:

  • Submit your tax-exempt certificate and this tax-exempt affidavit to Beaver Run 30 days prior to your arrival.
  • Payment of ALL room charges must be made either by credit card and/or check issued by the government agency, organization that qualifies for Tax-Exempt Status. Payments may not be made in cash, by personal check, or with a personal credit card.

Beaver Run Resort parking information:

  • Self-Parking in the resort's parking garage will be complimentary for CPRA Conference attendees.
  • Valet parking is also available through the front drive of the hotel for an additional fee.

Annual Conference Attendee Substitution & Refund Policy 

Annual Conference Attendee Substitution Policy:

  • There will be no penalty for substitutions received on or before September 18, 2026.  Please contact CPRA to substitute, adjust, and switch out attendees or registration details.
  • A $50 processing fee will be added to the original registrant for each transfer or substitution made between September 19 - October 1, 2026. Please contact CPRA to substitute attendees and pay the processing fee.
  • No substitutions or transfers of 2026 Annual Conference Registrations may be made on or after October 2, 2026.  Please contact CPRA for questions or concerns. Emergencies or other exceptions will be approved by the Executive Director and/or Professional Development Manager.

Annual Conference Attendee Refund Policy:

  • There will be no penalty for cancellations received on or before September 18, 2026.  Please contact CPRA to cancel, substitute, adjust, and switch out attendees or registration details.
  • A $100 processing fee will be assessed with the original registrant for each cancellation made between September 19 - October 1, 2026. Please contact CPRA to cancel registration(s).
  • No cancellations or refunds of 2026 Annual Conference Registrations may be made on or after October 2, 2026. Substitutions may be made until October 1, 2026 (please see the policy above for more details).  Emergencies or other exceptions will be approved by the Executive Director and/or Professional Development Manager.
